Yoga For Beginners
If you are new to yoga a great way to ease yourself into the world of yoga is with Yin classes. Yin yoga classes are gentle yet very effective and are great of helping you relax, unwind, slow down, and heal; whether you are new to yoga or not. Poses are held for longer in a yin yoga class to be able to get deeper into the muscles and fascia of the body to help relieve tension, stored energy and or trauma, improve flexibility, and for joint health. I hope you enjoy this yin yoga class it is a great way to start a yoga practice and if done right before bed, it will help you sleepy wonderfully!

Hi, my name is Jody Vining. I started practicing yoga in 2013 and became certified as a 200hr Yoga Teacher in Costa Rica in 2019 through Authentic Movements. https://authenticmovements.com/ I am trained in Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga. My style of teaching is gentle. I focus of cultivating full presence throughout the class with mindful flows emphasizing connecting your breath to your movement. I believe ample strength, balance, and presence can be built through seemingly gentle classes that focus on breath awareness, holding challenging postures, and repetition. I grew up eating the Standard American Diet. Full of processed foods like oreos, cheezits, american cheese, chips, cookies, icecream, and boxed mac and cheese. I suffered a lot from headaches, stomach pain, fatigue, constipation, bloating, gas, acne, dry skin, dizziness, shortness of breath, indigestion, pms, cramps, sore throats, and respiratory issues. I started learning about health and nutrition in 2013. I attended the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and graduated with a certificate as a Holistic Health Coach in 2018. I drastically change the foods I ate, my thought patterns, and my day to day habits. By doing so, all symptoms mentioned above I no longer deal with; they all went all away.
