Jennilee turns her focus onto the SI joint – a strong, fibrously connective joint at the base of the spine and an area which many of us experience instability in. Jennilee teaches us the importance of allowing the sacrum to follow the spine and the ilium to follow the sacrum in twists such as Revolved Triangle and Twisted chair pose and seated twists, to keep this area safe in our yoga practice.
If you’re a yoga teacher and would like to learn more about anatomy, you can do so with Jennilee Toner on our EkhartYoga Academy. Check out her course here: https://www.ekhart-academy.com/anatomy-immersion
