Yin Yoga Poses | Seated Forward Fold
Welcome back to Mike’s Yoga Channel. If you know me, then you know I love Yin Yoga! In this Yoga Short, we are showcasing one of my all time favorite yin yoga poses, Seated Forward Fold.
To perform Seated Forward Fold, you simply sit down with your legs extended out long in front of you. From there, you just melt your body forward grabbing onto the feet or the toes. If you can reach your feet, that’s okay, just let your hands rest where they naturally fall.
This pose comes with many benefits, including a great stretch for the hamstrings, calves and the entire back body. This yoga pose is also very calming and grounding and great to do if you are feeling anxious or stressed.
